Comfo-Cap® Protective Caps, widely used in the mining industry, feature a low-crown clearance for low-ceiling areas and come with a lamp bracket and cordholder to support a miner's lamp. The lightweight, tough polycarbonate plastic shell resists top impacts and molded cross ridges on the crown deliver increased strength and rigidity. Plus, the cap's peak helps protect eyes and face from small, falling objects. Comfo-Cap® meets or exceeds Type I Helmet (top impact) applicable requirements as outlined in ANSI Z89.1-2003, Class G.
